Jeremy regularly advises employees on whether their contract of employment or termination package is lawful. Many standard employment contracts nowadays contain clauses that are overreaching in their scope. Jeremy is quick to point out when a restriction is enforceable, but is always on the lookout to protect employees from provisions of a contract that are on their face unreasonable.

Jeremy also consults managers and human resources professionals on how to arrange employment contracts, and to ensure employers are mindful of their rights and obligations as prescribed by Ontario legislation,the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
